Is an integrated fully automatic coffee machine recommended?

well, if I ever buy beans other than our usual "Malabar beans," there is immediate complaining here, I don't even need to buy beans from the discount store, no one likes the taste. Best regards Sabine

Complaining people? That definitely shows poor upbringing.
I would love to personally attend this test and it would end as humorously as almost all such tests do.
But if it is your favorite brand, then that is wonderful and it would be crazy if you bought something else, just like the Lidl buyer does or the person who talks to each bean individually.
It has to taste good—

We don’t have a built-in coffee machine, but a standalone Bosch device on the countertop. It has been working without issues for a few years.

We buy beans for €10/kg from Lidl, we like them better than the more expensive brands from the supermarket.

No, nobody has to come. Basically like with any fully automatic machine:

[*]Descale every x cups and run a cleaning cycle every y cups, roughly once a month with about 5-10 cups a day [*]Regularly remove the drip tray and put it in the dishwasher [*]Regularly remove and wash the brewing unit

Sounds doable. I thought someone would have to come regularly for maintenance or you’d have to uninstall the machine... To those with integrated KVA: which one exactly do you have?

We now have the third one, because all previous ones broke over time. 1. DeLonghi Terrible device. At some point something in the electronics must have been broken. When you turned it on, the fuse would blow. 2. Bosch (identical to Siemens) Also terrible. Above all, very difficult to clean and poorly made. At some point the locking bolt warped and you could no longer properly insert the brewing unit. 3. for about half a year now. Needs to be cleaned very often. For that, it is very easy here. No corners you can't reach and almost exclusively smooth surfaces inside. So far we are satisfied. If I imagine we had already the third fixed one... what would that have cost! My parents-in-law have a fixed one from NEF and are very unhappy.

I can't tell you that in detail. They keep mentioning it, but I don't remember the details. I have things in mind like, hard to clean, small water tank, something broken after just half a year, etc etc...
