Yes, I can understand. For a quick coffee in the morning and a shot of espresso in the evening, the device is a bit too much. However, I work from home, the machine runs from morning to evening and is used accordingly, also by my wife.

From experience, I can report that portafilter machines are cleaning-intensive and that the grinder always crumbs something out, and the dregs... Whatever: I love it! Conclusion: Very delicious coffee drinks, cumbersome operation and cleaning, no mold problems, high space requirements, premium prices (for dual-circuit or dual-boiler machines and definitely recommended grinder), high power consumption (it has to stay warm). Built-in machines are designed for a certain throughput and only remain mold-free if they are really used and maintained a lot. I tend to refuse coffee from fully automatic machines in unknown households and offices because I know what they can look like inside.

Speaking of which: How do you make a coffee with it? Or do you mean an Americano (?), that is, a stretched espresso?

Meant Americano. But I drink that very rarely. In the morning/before noon 1 to 3 cappuccinos, then usually only espressos.

Ah, all right.

I thought it wasn’t called Espressi
