The justice system loves such cases and has whole containers full of this kind of stuff.
The public order office will probably send you a fine; they probably won't check for long. Just chalk it up to a parking violation. The real question is how you can get the anger about the man out of your head as quickly as possible to be able to focus on the important things in life again.
