Is a prefab house with split-level possible? Design attached.

I have another question right away, but I wanted to create a separate thread for it.

I am considering installing a split-level in my prefabricated bungalow. ONLY the approximately 40 sqm living room should be lower than the rest of the house (about 40 cm). Is this technically possible or feasible by the prefabricated house manufacturer?

Creating the floor slab with one level should be the smaller problem.

I would appreciate opinions.

that should not be a problem.

You just need to find a prefab house provider that also offers individually planned houses.

It only gets difficult with providers who exclusively offer their "normal" (which is not meant in a derogatory way) standard houses.

I had a different provider for a timber frame prefab house than Dirk - ours does that too. So: yes, there are providers who do that - but they are not the providers in the lowest price category.

If "my gut" is not wrong, your help is in vain. For the OP, it's primarily about the price at the bottom right; if they have heard (read) what a splitlevel entails in additional costs, it will be over quickly. Your provider will probably be out as a serious alternative in no time.
