We have a Spartherm Ares!
Are very satisfied with it, beautiful wood stove.
But that is quite a device, almost 500kg and 7.5kW nominal output should belong to a reasonably large room.
The Panorama fireplaces really don’t like getting too little wood, then you have to clean the glass continuously.

I am planning to have a Schiedel Absolut 18-TL installed in a KfW55 new building with a central ventilation system (+ exhaust hood in the kitchen). The builder wants 5K for it. What do I need to consider if I want to connect a 5KW wood stove with panoramic glazing to it? Does anyone have experience with this?

Your question doesn't have much to do with three-sided fireplaces since you would have the same question with other fireplaces as well. But if I may offer my two cents: The biggest problem will probably be the combination of the extractor hood and the fireplace, as you surely already know. Your energy consultant must calculate this and will be able to advise you accordingly. Also, I know that in the past you had to make sure that the diameter of the chimney matched the output of the fireplace. However, I only know this from old houses where sometimes huge chimneys were installed. In those cases, pipes were inserted when the nominal output of the fireplace was too low. I can't imagine that this still has to be done with chimneys installed today, as they are not designed to be nearly as large. Your fireplace dealer will also be able to advise you on this matter.

to return to "affordable" panoramic fireplaces, for us it will probably be the Olsberg Osorno, which I can get directly through our building materials supplier and currently costs around 5K€.

We also looked at the Osorno, it was then a bit too small for us. But also very nice, have fun
