If you put Venetian blinds on the window, it works. I have the same setup, the window isn't quite that wide. Sewing machine in front, PC to the side. From April/May to September, I have the Venetian blind down and tilted 95% of the time so I’m not being blinded. South-facing window ;) But I like the way the light comes in like that. The rest of the year I have it nice and bright without a lamp. For window cleaning, of course, the stuff has to be moved aside. But that’s no problem, 2 machines + 1 lamp, that works fine. It also teaches some tidying up ;) and I don’t clean it that often anyway. I have a continuous worktop, which is sturdy enough to step on.
