A lot has been accomplished by now: We had a mini excavator for 4 days and used it to dig the trenches for the irrigation around the house. After that, about 350m of PE pipe (32mm) and about 100m of electrical cable were laid inside and everything was covered up again. Now only 30 flexible pipe ends bear witness to all the work.

Then the well driller came again and solved the problem that the pump was not drawing water: The landscapers had set the concrete ring for the shaft where the pump will stand and did not properly re-screw the shortened drilling pipe, causing air to be drawn in before the check valve. On top of that, the check valve was probably damaged during the frost in February. It was sealed and replaced, and now it’s working. The water column stays in place and the pump delivers again without sputtering.
Today, as a test, a zone was connected directly to the pump and PRS40 heads with rotators were installed everywhere. And lo and behold: They all pop up cleanly!

Now just the small task of installing the valve box, connecting all pipes, wiring up Hunter Hydrawise, and then putting everything into operation to support the upcoming lawn seeding!
