And don't forget the maintenance! Usually, it is included, but the saying is not without reason: "You don't transplant an old tree." You can caress it for years, and it will probably still look bad (no leaves, branches die off, etc.).

A nurse is not included there. The ones we want are not giants yet but already large trees. Some tree species really are no longer suitable for transplantation once they reach a certain size. Giants then generally cost five- to six-figure amounts (old formal shrubs). You are mistaken regarding the large trees. Transport always takes place outside the growing season. Usually, there are no problems if properly prepared and cared for. You can no longer tell what is new in the garden and what is not.

Here is an example (not my house) nearly 1 year after installation. Do you know what is new or old?

OMG! Fortunately, taste is hard to argue about. Everything looks like new and just placed, if you ask me.

In the meantime, the garden is very overgrown and offers shelter and food to many animals. It is also just a small section. You have to like the type of park-like garden. you are probably more in favor of wild gardens. It was also once featured in Schöner Wohnen a few years ago. This garden is like a vacation. Something is always blooming and animals are on the move. Without automatic irrigation and a gardener every day, such a garden cannot be maintained.

Yes, my ultimate goal is more in this direction:

However, I must admit that my better half is not yet completely convinced. So far, I only have small "islands" that I am allowed to let go wild. Well, I am working on it. I have just started. Constant dripping...

Has something to it... but it would be too wild for me.
