Do you mean the larvae? I don't really remember anymore, in the end I think we resorted to the chemical weapon because the lice had eaten the entire apple tree. I'd rather try an insect hotel for ladybugs and lacewings, maybe that will help.

Clover in the lawn is a sign of nitrogen deficiency. So if you regularly fertilize (and of course water) the lawn will grow thick again and the clover has no chance. Best regards Sabine
