Good morning everyone
I am currently renovating my house. The house dates from 1988. Now I have removed all the screed to retrofit underfloor heating. In doing so, I noticed that two floor-to-ceiling windows are separated from the outside only by a foil covered with soil. (See photos)
I will continue to excavate the area outside this evening. Actually, I should find a foundation somewhere underneath.
I wanted to fill the free space under the window with Styrofoam and pull up a tar paper from the foundation on the outside. Or is this setup complete nonsense?
I am happy to receive tips and advice.
Thanks for your help
Regards
