In my opinion, that is not a problem either, but I assume that you will have to "saw/cut" in length at some point. Then you would start with the shorter part at the other end. Yes, fiberglass insulation – WLG 035 and possibly 16 mm (then you ensure that the fiberglass aligns flush with the wood and your boards). Basically: cover as much as possible – everywhere there are gaps is a thermal bridge.I now only have the problem that the boards are 120 cm x 50 cm, 16 cm thick, and have a stepped rebate worked in. They also cannot be separated in the middle, i.e. can only be laid in a single layer with 16 cm. But basically, because of the stepped rebate incorporated, the joints are already offset, right? As clamping fleece, should I use fiberglass insulation? What gap in cm should I leave around it? So, for example, around the chimney, leave 10 cm free up to the concrete floor? Then "only" 16 cm of glass wool there? I lose some thermal insulation effectiveness there, right? Looks nice how you laid it :)
