No. Not in Germany for a long time. They have been from Hettich and of lower quality for years. I think in Austria they are still from Blum.

Yes, it was changed. We took a few carcasses with drawers from the rental apartment and are now using them again in the utility room, combined with new ones. The old Maximera were heavily used and are still better today than the new ones.

A long, long time ago, I was fiddling with that cabinet. I intended to share the experience with the Ikea cabinet, but then I thought no one would be interested. Now there are quite a few current reactions to this thread, so I'll post some photos:

Conclusion: the doors are connected with chunky internal hinges. Ugly. Unstable. And if you look closely (first photo), you can see that the door is not straight.
With the Nolte doors, you get a better and more comfortable handle, even though both are the same thickness.
A flaw comes with the Maximera right from the start. I'll put it this way: overall, the cabinet cost a lot of money. Then there's the effort, which I personally still enjoy, as long as it's not 7 meters long. In total, the cabinet is not worth what it cost. If I had chosen a shelf, which would be a unique piece visually, I probably would have enjoyed the design more. But that might also be because of the special requirement for the drawer.

I only realized it now, after expanding our kitchen. A total of 13 drawers. The Austrians and Poles still have Blum, and also at a cheaper price. The different handling drives me crazy. The "Hettich" (???) drawers don't close. Is there nothing decent from Hettich for replacement? This is outrageous.
