I just thought about where I got the 5 years from: On the Daikin page in the funding calculator, when entering "< 5 years" the message appeared that no funding was possible. However, I also did not find it on the Bafa site.

A question for the air conditioning experts: Should one definitely rely on R32 as a refrigerant nowadays, or are other systems, e.g. with R410A, not to be ruled out per se!?

There are not many systems with R410A left. These systems tend to be older and therefore usually less efficient. It is also more environmentally friendly. And it is more expensive, which becomes annoying in case of a leak. The only disadvantage, the higher flammability, is purely academic. Nothing will catch fire unless you deliberately provoke it. For these reasons, I would stick with R32.

Currently, I have just received my quotes; in the end, it will be a system from Daikin. Besides the results from Stiftung Warentest, I also liked them the best, and they apparently use this R32 refrigerant.
