Installation of Framtid microwave in wall cabinet

Hello dear forum,

probably I am missing something and the problem is easily solved, but I cannot get any further without help.

This morning I wanted to install my new Fratmid microwave in my wall cabinet (60x100). According to the installation instructions, the required distance between the top edge of the lower shelf and the bottom edge of the next shelf should be exactly 355mm, so that the microwave (height 348mm) fits well there.

However, the problem is that I am missing exactly the height of one shelf. In other words, the gap between the shelves is 18mm too small, so the microwave does not fit. Maybe someone can help me and tell me where my mistake is. Thank you very much.

You're still missing more for 355, aren't you? Looks like 330. I think the floor above needs to be 1 higher?

Edit: Oh no, I just see that then the door won't fit. Have you actually tried sliding the MW in to see if it really doesn't fit?

The MW действительно не входит. Не хватает примерно 1,8 см. Может быть, верхний борд кладется/клеится прямо на MW? По крайней мере, инструкция допускает такую интерпретацию.

I can imagine that. Is the strip there a piece of adhesive tape? If you look at the installation in a tall cabinet, it looks like you would drill an extra hole at the back for the resting bottom to stabilize it instead of using the pre-made ones.

hello wulf1, I just checked for myself, you need to raise the top shelf a bit higher. The door at the top still closes because the upper part of the microwave is set back. best regards and a good year 2017 robi ps. I just noticed that the hinge is there with you, with me I had the fold-up solution upwards. drill new holes for the shelf further above the microwave. and... yes, it is exactly 1.8 cm above and rests on the microwave.
