Install NEFF XXL dishwasher at the edge - Ikea Metod

Hello, I am currently setting up my kitchen. I got the XXL dishwasher from Neff. I already found a lot of information here, but I have a problem!!

The XXL dishwasher is located at the END of a "U" and cannot be installed anywhere else.

Should I build a frame myself for it to stand in, with a side panel? I chose the RED high-gloss front.

For the countertop, a satin "CoffeeBrown" stone slab will be used.

Hello, the support cheek at the end you have to make yourself, for example from a cover side, as can be seen in the planner's pictures. This must be taken into account with the length of the worktop.

The stonemason is not coming to measure until Monday anyway

My current idea would be to screw together 2 or 3 side panels and place them as a "thick" end piece next to the dishwasher as a "post". Possibly add cross braces at the back for spacing...

Since the stone weighs 120kg per sqm, this would be the most stable solution for me, and one side panel already looks somewhat inferior and thin.

Now I just have to see if I can attach the front panel to the NEFF... I only find Ikea Behjälplig for this. I will take a look at that part TODAY and possibly order the original NEFF part.

However, I will have the side panels cut at the hardware store since I currently only have a €19 circular saw... At the hardware store, it costs me "€1" per cut for someone else's board. I think that would be at least a solution.

Did you buy a dishwasher with a Varioscharnier? Then you don’t need anything extra. If not, there is no suitable accessory for the front from Neff. BEHJÄLPLIG? Is that available again? Get advice from the stonemason on how to best construct / attach the support side panel.
