Good morning everyone,
We are about to purchase a prefabricated house from Hanse dating back to 1963 in a few weeks. Currently, the property is still heated with an oil heating system from 1985. However, the seller bought a brand new gas heating system from Weishaupt last year, including accessories, which she would of course leave in the house. Additionally, she has already had a gas line installed from the street.
We are now faced with the decision whether to install the new gas heating system and possibly supplement it or whether we should completely switch to alternative heating systems, such as an air heat pump.
We would be happy to gather some advice and experiences here in the forum. What factors should we consider in our decision? What are your experiences with gas heating systems compared to alternative heating systems? Are there recommendations or considerations we should take into account?
We look forward to your opinions and experiences and to an engaging discussion.
Thank you very much and best regards!
