Gas heating required in property purchase contract

If the motto "Eat or die" applies, I find that acceptable. At least in a moral sense.

Which moral principles does the (real estate) market currently follow?

Brief feedback from me: We have purchased the property.

The notary said: it mentions gas supply. Not from whom and for how long.

We will handle it exactly that way. We are building with a gas heating system and will design the supply temperature, etc., for a heat pump. As soon as the first gas heating system expires, or possibly a CO2 tax makes it uneconomical, a heat pump will then be installed.

I also found out that the municipal utilities have agreed on a 75% quota. So if everyone builds with gas, I can still change it and go straight to a heat pump from the start.
