In which season of the year is it best to bring screed into the basement

Hello everyone,

we moved in almost a year ago. The basement was not yet developed, we laid electrical cables there and already plastered the walls. Now we want to get started on the floor.
So there is just the bare concrete (WU basement), without insulation and screed. Only the black vapor barrier is in place.
The question is, in which season does it make the most sense to bring in screed, and unfortunately also a lot of moisture into the basement? Actually not in summer, because you tend to bring more moisture into the basement when it is warm outside. A cold winter would cool it down - probably not so good either, right?
Insulation still has to be put in beforehand, and in two rooms also underfloor heating.

Thanks for tips and regards
Tobi

I believe the season does not matter at all. It only depends on the temperatures. The basement should not be colder than 5 degrees. And it must always be well ventilated to get the moisture out of the rooms.

But the cellar is insulated on the outside?

:

It does depend on the season - in summer you just bring in the humidity, in winter not...

But most of the moisture comes from the plaster - the screed is not that wet - or anhydrite screed?

Yes, it is insulated from the outside - obviously not the base slab. I am trying to do it before winter, but not in the middle of summer now.

Why logically? We didn’t insulate the base slab either, so we’ll just do it via the screed insulation ;).

Yes, that is of course done this way, even though a thermal bridge is created here. Otherwise, you would have to insulate under the concrete floor slab as well. I will also install the x cm insulation between the concrete and the screed.
