IKEA UTRUSTA door damper installation click-on

Hello everyone! I am desperately trying to "snap on" my Utrusta door dampers (Art. No. 402.418.23 ) onto the existing hinges (Art. No. 602.046.45 ). For 2 out of 6, it worked perfectly with a click, but for the other 4, nothing happens. No clicking, pressing doesn't help....nothing. What am I doing wrong? Do the hinges have to be in a certain position? I already took the doors off again to get better access, but to no avail. Does anyone know this or have a tip? Thanks in advance!

Actually, nothing clicks. First insert at the front, pull something towards you, and then press it at the back.

Thanks for the tip, myticas! My husband and I had already started doubting ourselves... Strangely, we had two bags of hinges that had already been cut open once and resealed. They must have already been returned once. We didn't need to do that now, just bent the springs correctly, done! Great thing
