Ikea Utrusta 40cm LED Strips Malfunction

Hello everyone,

after our move, we bought a new Ikea kitchen and had it assembled by IKEA / Hermes. After some somewhat bumpy follow-up installations, everything is now set up, and we are quite satisfied with the final result. However, there is a small issue for which I would rather not have a Hermes furniture assembler come again, as that would take weeks again.

We have four 40cm Utrusta LED strips on the wall cabinets, as well as the Omlopp cabinet lighting. Occasionally, the two middle ones, or one of the middle LED strips, do not turn on. See also the picture.

Can someone give me a tip on how to debug this? Can they be easily replaced by myself and exchanged at IKEA? Could it perhaps just be a loose connection and I don't need to replace anything?

Hello, we have exactly the same problem with some Utrusta LEDs, 3 of them no longer work, and in total we have 2 that do work. They were installed by Hermes just like new (13.7.). From mobile phone photos I can now see that first one was off and then about 1 day later 2 more. I didn’t notice it at first. The strange thing is, the one with the power supply doesn’t work, then comes an outlet and then a light that does work, then two that don’t work (around the corner) and then finally one that works again.

We already thought it had something to do with the remote control, but it doesn’t light up at all to reset itself, and the lights, nothing happens anymore. And after just one month of use? Because of this, we already informed Ikea since they were installed by the installers. But if it really drags on like this, my question is, can they just be exchanged or is it very complicated?
