Hello everyone! We are currently assembling our Metod kitchen and are facing a problem. We have a Rakall fridge-freezer combination and a 220cm tall Metod cabinet. At Ikea, an employee told us that we should use the 125-degree hinges because then the doors can be opened far enough to fully pull out the vegetable drawer. Now the problem: when assembled this way, the fridge-freezer combination is as close as possible (including the rubber seal, which according to the instructions should be attached) to the left side of the cabinet wall. However, when you open the fridge door, it scrapes against the hinges because the 125-degree hinges are significantly thicker than the 95-degree hinges. That can’t be right, can it?! Does anyone have experience with this or any tips? We’ve already lifted the combination in and out about 10 times today but haven’t found a clever solution yet. Thank you very much in advance!
