IKEA PAX sliding door dust seal

Hello dear Ikea fans,

I have had a Pax bedroom wardrobe with 2 glass sliding doors for 1 year, which I had assembled by the IKEA assembly service (it's quite big, that thing). I noticed that although the doors have brush seals on the side and are sealed at the top, there is a fairly wide gap at the bottom guide rail, which I have identified as the cause of the dust in the wardrobe.

My question: does anyone else have this wardrobe and can confirm whether this is normal or if there might be an assembly error?

Actually, it should be fixable somehow with a brush seal from the hardware store. Has anyone done this before and possibly has tips?

I am not aware of it, but if it can be fixed with simple means... Why don't you give it a try. The seal only costs a few cents or???

I am not thinking of a construction error now...

your post is now a few years old. And I am currently facing the same problem. I bought a visually great 3m wide Pax sliding door wardrobe, with the no longer available beautiful Tonnes doors (2x 1.50m). When you look at the wardrobe from above (I saw it when installing the lights), there is a very large gap in the door behind which the other one slides. And a small gap at the other door. This also shows with dust edges in the wardrobe on the shelves. It really annoys me - because this is something you don’t think about or see when buying.... It would mean dusting every few days - NO! - why do I have a wardrobe then. Or somehow seal the top of the wardrobe. But how? I still lack the idea... How did you ultimately solve the problem? Why do so few people notice this? You find almost nothing about it on the internet... And what was Ikea thinking. Strange. I would be very happy about an idea or an answer.
