Hello,
we have a 250cm Pax wall (50-50-100-50). Now I want to equip the cabinets with lighting. A surface-mounted solution is not (so easily) feasible - ceiling height about 245 cm; PAX 236 cm. There is practically no space on top of the cabinet for the "normal" cabinet lights from Ikea. So I thought of an internal solution. Of course, the easiest would be the "standard Komplement lights". Definitely for the 100 cm cabinet. The 50 cm ones are each equipped with many shelves, which block the light so that it remains dark further down.
I already considered the idea of mounting the Komplement strip on the door and accordingly shortening the "abut" shelves. However, I could imagine that this solution would provide good light output but the appearance would suffer massively.
An alternative would be Ledberg / Dioder or LED strip... however, I see the problem that when filling the individual shelves the LED strip could possibly be pulled off. And equipping each shelf with an LED strip...?
What other options are there?
Best regards
