Hello everyone, I am currently assembling a Pax system in an old building. When the individual cabinets are placed next to each other, there are small gaps. My question is: can I simply turn the adjustable feet to compensate, lifting the front of the cabinet and be done? It seems a bit strange to me that the entire load then rests only on the feet (and presses into the beautiful wooden floorboards). What are your experiences?

If the cabinet is only standing on its feet, the bottom panel can easily break out. For this reason, the carcasses should also be attached to the wall. It also doesn’t hurt to support the sides.

If you always have to stabilize the side parts, I question the usefulness of the feet... Still, thank you for your answer.

You should align it with your feet. The mounting on the wall bears the load. Of course, you have to be careful not to tighten the screws so much that the cabinet stands crooked. It is best to support a gap between the bracket and the wall.
