Ikea Panel Wall Framsta / Fixing

Hello Ikea fan community!

I want to assemble my Framsta panel wall and have the following mounting questions:

The wall is wall-mounted with 4 x 2 elements. Is it correct—according to the assembly instructions—that it is only screwed to the wall once at the top? It is supposed to hold a flat-screen TV as well as 3 shelves, glass panels as a back wall, and LEDs.

I can’t imagine that 4 elements stacked with only 2 screws will hold.

Has anyone tried this before? Or where can someone at Ikea provide information?

I want the wall to be hung by Christmas.

I agree with you. Two screws will never hold. But as far as I know, there is a rail system for it. It is attached at the bottom, middle, and top. Furthermore, you should firmly secure the panels to the wall. Because the panels can warp, causing them to come loose despite silicone or similar. The best thing would be if you screw the panels directly to the wall. If possible, in invisible spots.

If you have to drill through the panels anyway (because the flat screen won’t hold on the wall without screws, right???), you can of course also use that as a mount for the panels. Then that is enough without additional screwing.

You must fasten each module individually to achieve the correct alignment. The TV mount is not screwed to the wall but hooked into the module rails.
