IKEA METOD vs. SEKTION also in Germany?

today I accidentally browsed a bit through the US American "Metod sister" SECTION and noticed that there are many more widths to choose from than with us. :eek:

For example, there are three sizes just for the double-door cabinets, and also many more drawer widths. Do you happen to know if this is new and could also come to us, or if the Americans are just luckier than we are?

SEKTION had the same widths from the beginning as with AKURUM.
With the pull-outs, they have slightly fewer variation options.

In what way fewer variation options? There are so many widths listed here, I’m getting quite jealous:

With SEKTION you have a maximum of 6 drawers in a base cabinet, with METOD 8.

The doors for SEKTION are only available up to approximately 150 cm in height.
