Hello,
I have the following problem:
Assembly of 3 m sliding door pair Pax Malm oak white glazed
- the 2 doors each consist of 4 panels
- the panels have decor on both front and back, but very different
1. side oak, somewhat darker (with square edge all around)
2. side oak, quite light, almost white, glaze-like (rounded edge)
Question:
Which is the front side?
In Ikea, it has always been the 1st, actually darker side, assembled as Malm oak "white glazed."
But now I see it can be "whiter."
Based on the edges, the darker side should also face forward, because silicone is factory-applied in the surrounding strips – the corresponding recesses on the panels would then be the rounded corners.
However, according to the assembly instructions, the "lighter" side should face up.
The rounded edges are not visible there.
