Ikea Birkeland drawers are sagging, any assembly tips?

Hi,

I bought the dresser Birkeland for our holiday home in Bordeaux in the spring, 3 wide drawers and three small ones on top. After a few months, the upper drawers sagged and the middle one no longer closes at all. As I see it, the front upper crossbeam on which the shelf sides rest is too weak and the drawers hang down. There are only socks in the drawers, so no heavy weights.

The picture shows the problem...

Who can give me a tip on what I can do.

Asking at Ikea Bordeaux fails already because of the language, but it is also difficult because they are in the middle of renovations.

-Actually, it cannot be due to the crossbar, since according to the assembly instructions, the side panels, on which the rails for the small drawers are mounted, are only attached to the top panel. If the crossbar were sagging, the side panels would no longer rest on the bar. Therefore, the lid would more likely not be straight anymore. Check this with a long spirit level or something similar. Was there perhaps something heavy on the dresser?

That looks to me more like something that can be solved relatively easily: the rails of the drawers have a small wheel on the pin that is inserted into the drawer. With this, such height differences can be compensated.

again me,

so I understood the thing with the screws and tried it right away. Now at least the middle drawer works, but just barely and it rubs.
The top panel is actually sagging, almost 2 mm. And there were no heavy things on it, 2 picture frames, a small floor lamp and some knick-knacks.

So the problem is identified. Do you also have a tip on how I can straighten the top panel again?

Thanks for your help

Find the receipt, remove the lid, drive to IKEA and make a complaint.

Or if there is no receipt anymore:

Remove the lid, place it on a flat surface with the painted side down, put a weight (about 10-20 kg) in the center and wait.
