Hello,

I’m attaching our floor plan of the guest WC with shower here. This bathroom is located on the ground floor and is intended to serve as a toilet for guests and us, and later also as a children's bathroom. The shower should remain in the niche at the back because I don't think guests should be able to look in there... Unfortunately, it has to stay on the sand so that the laundry shaft can be used.

The washbasin has already been removed from there and will now be placed on the other side of the shower partition. Do you have any other suggestions? In addition to the items shown, a changing table must also be able to be placed in the bathroom!

Thanks a lot already :)

Best regards

Hello Melanie, we have a bathroom with very similar dimensions (ours is 6 cm narrower). We arranged it exactly the other way around. The shower is opposite the door, sink and toilet on the bottom wall. However, our window is also on the bottom wall, practically right next to the toilet. Behind the door we are planning a bathroom cabinet. Well - since everything else is predetermined, I can hardly think of anything for your bathroom now ;) No idea what the guest is supposed to copy from the shower - we usually close the door when someone is showering.

So the shower should stay at the back and the laundry chute cannot be moved - the rest can be varied as you like ;)

Maybe you should explain what you don’t like about the current layout.

Changing table could be placed on the shower wall.

Alternatively, the toilet on the shower wall and the washbasin with changing table at the top of the plan as a unit.

Washbasin on the shower wall I find good. Toilet straighten and directly opposite the washbasin. Behind the door the changing table, done :)

Just as Yvonne suggests or alternatively as kbt meant: toilet on the shower wall and wash/changing table combo on the entire wall at the top of the plan. You could create something great there (e.g. with washbasin countertops).
