Hello everyone,
when building a garden house (timber frame construction) with HPL panels as the facade, I am uncertain about the method of mounting the panels. Everywhere it is required that HPL panels must be ventilated from behind. Now I have seen different mounting methods in pictures from some manufacturers.
Here, a substructure is screwed onto OSB panels, onto which the HPL panels are mounted.
Here, the HPL panels are mounted directly onto the wooden beams.
Would the following variant be possible (from outside to inside)?
HPL -- substructure as battens (vertical) -- OSB panels -- KVH
