Hello everyone,
As an amateur, I still want to insulate my basement myself. I am building with a prefabricated basement from Schwörerhaus (basic basement): The exterior basement walls consist of two concrete shells with smooth surfaces, connected by reinforcing steel.
Now to my question:
I want to insulate this basement. One room will be heated later. What do I need for this?
Which materials? I have seen that often blue or pink "boards/mats" are used.. what is important to consider here?
Do I still need bitumen? Adhesive? Waterproofing?
What does the wall structure look like?
Can someone help me with this?
I thank you in advance..
