How to finish Ikea Besta shelves with a front?

we have put together a Besta system for our daughter, on which she will hopefully soon be able to do homework, paint, and do other things. Among other things, we bought the shelves 128 x 60 x 40 for this. However, drawers are now supposed to go into them as well. Unfortunately, we only noticed during assembly that the drawers flush with the front, but the shelves do not. That means, if I want drawers in the middle of a shelf and a shelf above them, there is a gap of about 1 cm between the drawer front panel and the shelf when the drawer is closed. I find that very unattractive...

Unfortunately, I have not found any other longer shelves anywhere. Can it really be that they don't exist? Or are there other options? Thanks...

Hello, you have to use the metal sheets as floor supports, then the gap is at the back and at the front the floor closes flush with the drawer front. You only have the choice between a gap at the back or a gap at the front. It is also shown in the assembly instructions.

Thanks for the tip. But I don't really find a gap at the back any nicer either. Yesterday I did a bit of googling and saw that there have been similar questions since 2009, and Ikea really hasn't created any other solutions for it? Like longer shelves, for example? I find that quite unbelievable and for me it is a pretty big dent in Ikea's image...
