How to connect an Ikea Pax wardrobe?

Hey folks,

I wanted to ask if this connecting screw (100402) is included with a normal Pax carcass to directly clamp on a second carcass.

I’m planning to build a 3-meter-wide sliding door wardrobe but I’m still missing some information

I basically imagined buying 3x 1m carcasses and 3 sliding doors. Then connect it all with these screws and install the interior fittings. And that’s it?

Is there anything else to consider?

Yes, all parts listed at the beginning of the assembly instructions are included.

No. Sliding doors are only available in widths of 150 cm and 200 cm. So for 3 m you need two 150 cm sliding door sets and four 75 cm carcasses.

Is there anything else to consider?

Yes. PAX has height-adjustable feet. They can compensate for uneven floors. However, you may need to shim the side panels, because otherwise the bottom panel often breaks out on PAX.

If you use 4x 75cm carcasses, there are no problems installing the rails cleanly?

What I find a bit unfortunate is that you can't plan something like this on the internet. You can't combine that there. Or have I just not found it yet?
