How to attach an Ikea cupboard to the wall with uneven walls?

Hello, I bought a Metod tall cabinet and have already assembled it. After aligning it against the wall, I noticed that the wall is extremely crooked and there is about 4 cm of space at the top.



Now I am wondering how I should attach it to the wall.

Another problem is yet to come, as I want to hang wall cabinets next to this cabinet, and the same problem will occur there.

You can be glad that the slope goes upwards to the back left; if it went forward, the glasses would fall out of the cabinet.
If, for example, you want to install an 80 cm upper cabinet and there is already a 1 cm slope within those 80 cm, you could attach a 1 cm thick wooden strip under the metal rail; you can use the same dowel holes with correspondingly longer screws.

Strictly speaking, that would be better; then I would have no problems attaching it at the top and would have the gap at the bottom instead.

You can probably only attach the cabinet with an angle bracket that has a correspondingly long leg (tilt protection). You’ll have to go to the hardware store. Possibly even install 2 angle brackets on top so that the carcass cannot twist (this can happen with one bracket) and it could then be that the screw tears out.
