If we assume the aforementioned 500k, then 10 years is not only unrealistic, but simply impossible with your income, or how do you want to manage around 4.7k rate without additional costs? Even 15 years I still consider relatively unrealistic unless income increases quickly and significantly. With a partner working part-time, it becomes even more unrealistic.

I am currently working only 80%, I could do 100%, and I am also completing further training at the end of the year, with which I will then earn significantly more. A friend with the same qualification received an offer from another employer where she earns over 1000 euros more than in the 100% position that I currently have at 80%. I am aiming more for part-time self-employment to eventually transition fully to self-employment. Of course, these are all just speculations, but yes, assuming everything goes perfectly...

Just take a normal rate of maybe €2,500 with an interest rate fixed for 10 or 15 years and make special repayments as much as you can and want. If you really have money like hay, you can pay off the remaining amount in one go after 10 years. Don’t worry too much about it, but signing a 15-year full repayment plan here now, I think, is nonsense. Just take it easy and that's that.

That was the plan. Probably a €2,000 rate at first and then possibly pay off in one go after the end of the interest rate fixation.
