I think it's good. The kitchen industry is a mafia if you ask me. They charge absolute fantasy prices for plywood, mark up devices multiple times over, and no one understands their calculations. Your version is, of course, the price-performance ultimate. However, it takes some time and the better half also has to accept it.

How do you know that my prices are exaggerated?

I take my time for it because I can save thousands of euros and I still enjoy the assembly.
My wife is fully on board with it!

Sorry, excessive might have been the wrong term. Let's say they are in the very top price range for the average person. At least from my point of view.

I also find 13k€ additional costs for electrical work quite steep. That would be, for example, 260 extra sockets at a price of 50€/socket. For that, you almost get a KNX light version compared to the standard installation.

I have inventoried 69 sockets at €29 each. We included topics such as an intercom system, KNX for blinds, high-voltage cables in the garage, wind sensors, motion detectors, recessed spotlights, CAT7 cables in every room, etc. No idea if that is standard or luxury in a new building nowadays. We definitely wanted to have it.

I thought so too. We are looking at an additional cost of max. 1000€ (according to the electrician, probably even significantly less... he hasn't done the final calculation yet).
