We have already applied for the demolition permit. I think we will start the demolition ourselves as a family project. Roof panels plus roof structure are not a big deal. I only had my house demolished on Monday. It was a small 70sqm bungalow that was partially basemented and a 15-20sqm solid stable. I also had the idea to do it myself. But then I received an offer for €6000 with everything included. What can I say, there was a big excavator and a helper. I also helped out. After 12 hours we were done. Today I received the bill. There were 5 tons of wood, 270kg of other waste, and an incredible 240 tons of rubble. Ten large trucks left the yard. I would never have thought in my life that such quantities would be taken out of there. So don’t even think about it in your dreams and let the professionals do it. Alone the risk of injuring yourself with such work.
