That also has a nine-month delivery time. Adoption is faster, keywords "used property" or "developer" (there are also some who don't start building only after the sale). But I agree with the basic statement, haste is no good cook.

Our experience in the Oberberg district: Approval: 5 weeks Groundbreaking to move-in: 11 months Half of the time spent on civil engineering and foundation due to challenging terrain Built with an architect and carpentry However, we also planned for 10 months and had all the trades coordinated by the carpentry that planned our construction. I am happy to provide contact, PN for that

Only maybe. A child isn’t delivered overnight with Prime. One should possibly first enjoy life together as a couple. 65 sqm is quite romantic for the first year, though not small at all. That should and can be seen positively. And if it gets too tight for you, then you should have seen it as a trial year, and everyone starts anew for themselves. At the beginning of 2020 the construction contract is signed, the application is submitted in April. The permit is granted in June, construction starts in September. Handover is in May/June 21. If there are any longer time spans somewhere, then expect the move at the end of 2021.

Haven't you lived together at all until now? If not, then living together in your wife's apartment offers the opportunity to first find out exactly what your future house should look like. Building a house should really be planned thoroughly down to the smallest detail, otherwise you'll be annoyed later when planning mistakes have been made everywhere. Kitchen planning must also be included from the very beginning; the room dimensions must fit the kitchen requirements and not the other way around—planning a house first and then somehow fitting a kitchen into it later. This goes on in every room: where should the room be located (direction), how big should it be, how many windows, how large, etc. Most people spend a few months on this. It is actually irrelevant whether you live longer in an apartment beforehand; a baby doesn't need its own room yet, much more important is a house that you are satisfied with later and above all a construction company that you have carefully chosen. Our first apartment was not even 40sqm and we lived there for 1.5 years; it never felt too small to me.

Best regards
Sabine

I would like to send you a PM, but unfortunately that only works after you have written 100 posts. I am still too new here for that. However, I would be interested in who you built with. Thank you.
