I admit: That also came into our lives comparatively late. But there are still several other things on the wish list ahead of a dryer (including a lawnmower :P).

Hmm, well, if you have children, a dryer is certainly very practical, to be honest I hadn’t really thought about that before. Or basically for a family. But if you live alone or as a couple, you can do without it.

...we now have 1,300 kWh less electricity consumption due to hot water preparation via district heating instead of the previous instantaneous water heater (21 kW, electrically controlled, Stiebel Eltron).

An additional consumer, however, is our new heat pump dryer in the laundry room.

I cannot yet assess what the hot water from district heating will cost us, as the annual billing is still pending.

But the electricity is for one year.

In our three apartments, we previously always had around 3,700 kWh, now only 2,400 consumption in the new apartment (25 m² more living space). Despite a new and newly acquired dryer for the first time!
The rest is hung on the dryer in the laundry room.

So, we no longer feel guilty about drying with the heat pump dryer...

Oh yes, there are two of us, and 6 shirts go through in a week.
