Exactly for this reason we would move from the city with 7000 inhabitants to the village with 750 inhabitants. City = €125/sqm, village = €25/sqm... That's a cool €80k difference for a plot of land.. That we then don't have a baker (a sales truck comes on Sundays), no butcher, no supermarket, etc., I can live with that. I accept driving 5 km. The prices are current, just accept it as is.. Comparable properties simply don't exist because nothing is on the market. One village over there is one listed for €149k from 1977 with a slightly smaller plot.

You have it good in Saxony. I know enough villages here where unfortunately the old corner shops are no longer around. But there is a pub and amateur league football..
If your "villages" are so well equipped, then I know where the solidarity surcharge is going..

Unfortunately, I can’t follow. We also live in a cow village without any shopping facilities. We don’t even have a football club. So why are we doing well? And what does that have to do with the solidarity surcharge? ops:

In affordable regions, this is rather rare and it is quite astonishing that even there there are so few offers now that you can no longer find anything on portals.
