Yes, that's how we see it too. Sooner or later, at least this amount will always be involved. Or rather 50k, and then roof, windows, heating, etc. all new, which brings you back to at least 200k.

Or you just leave everything as it is and save quite a bit. Everyone as they want. :-)

Where can you find houses that cheap, even if the condition is no longer optimal?!
For us, a "normal, small house from the 60s/70s" only starts at around 400,000 and up, houses built after 2000 are at least 500,000 euros.

Wow! That is of course a lot. We live rather rurally in Bavaria, or rather Franconia. There are certainly properties, but then a complete renovation is of course necessary at the very least. We are still somewhat lucky with the price structure, if you can say that. Also with land prices, but all of that is steadily increasing. We notice that here too. Houses that cost 80k five years ago now cost around 130k. However, it must also be said that the associated incomes here are usually much lower than in larger cities. We would probably go to the bank in Munich with our capital and could probably go straight back home :D

We do not really live in an expensive area, but for under 100k you can only get houses even here that could possibly serve as a backdrop in the next horror B-movie! In the exposé, it is then advertised as "... for those skilled in handiwork ..." or "... wake this gem from its deep sleep". You also often read "property with potential ...". In my opinion, a complete renovation is not worth it.

We also live in a village in Bavaria, 2000 inhabitants. But the price development for us is unfortunately beyond good and evil.

Wasn't that to be expected? In the metropolitan areas it becomes too expensive and the customers "migrate" to the (still) cheaper regions. Demand rises and so do the prices. Here, the distance between the "city center" and the "commuter belt" is maybe 5 km to 10 km. That makes a difference of about 100k euros.
