House facade - paint exterior tiles?

we have relatively unsightly tiles on the lower part of the facade of our little house. Does anyone have experience whether these can be painted? What kinds of paint are available for this?

I have already done that indoors. Cleaning, primer on it, and then two coats of paint. It worked perfectly even with my skills and was also not very susceptible to mechanical impact. However, I don't know how weather-resistant this stuff is. I would say it probably isn't a problem. I don't know exactly what it's called - but the nice gentleman at the hardware store will surely show you the shelf. However, it wasn't very cheap. I think I paid about 15-20 € per square meter.

I don't think these tile colors for bathroom and kitchen are suitable for outdoors. But have a look at [Sockel- oder Betonfarbe]. With the right primer beforehand, something can definitely be done. You can try a test stroke on a corner. Another idea: attach battens. But that would be expensive.

Removing battens or tiles and replastering would be really expensive. I was thinking more of bonding primer (textured) and baseboard paint... What do you think? Has anyone worked with textured bonding primer before?

I would definitely not try to match it with the plaster over it. Add a nice accent, then whether it is grainy or not does not matter.
