Take a look at the already ongoing discussions and neighboring threads: I often notice that with the same conditions, similar discussion requests run in parallel. Thus, you will often find answers to your questions through these discussions or find ideas on how other users try to solve this or that problem in their house construction.
I came across the "problem" while responding to a private message request for a design sketch of a house on a slope. During this time (let's say two to three days), two other users posted their (or their architect's) designs, which are actively being discussed – currently.
After I pointed this out to "my" user, they asked for the link. For me, a redundant question in a forum, because I myself (also through other forums) know that during a forum visit (as a questioner) you should always have all current questions and threads in focus or at least read the headings if you are currently dealing intensively with the main topic, i.e. the forum's main focus itself.
Of course, there are individual designs that cannot be compared with others; nevertheless, for the questioner, the question of why the hallway is not furnishable or why the dressing room should be swapped with the bedroom may no longer arise. In my example "house on a slope" it was the use of the basement (possibly the suggestion of living spaces with terrace access or changing the use of the floors between ground floor and basement).
Be that as it may: check parallel threads, even if they are weeks old – they certainly contain many solved problems that you currently have yourself.
Other people’s problems also help you! Almost all users here are in the same situation as you: by reading at least the current threads posted by like-minded people, you do not become less knowledgeable. Even if it may not concern you at the moment, surely this exact problem will affect you in the future – having existing knowledge then is not wrong.
Best regards Yvonne
