House construction without garden passage

The garden is about 150 sqm, so apart from a terrace and later an inflatable pool for the kids and a barbecue area, not much more will fit on it.

The garden is only accessible through the driveway side drawn on the plan as we have a building gap & the other houses have been standing for 30 years.

Option 1: Garage 7.5 m and at the same time a passage to the garden

Option 2: Garage 6.5; passage between house and garage 1 m

I imagine one meter quite narrow?!

Option 3: completely cover the 7.50m, but only execute about 3.50 - 4.0m as a garage, the rest as a carport and leave the back open so that you can go through. That would probably make the most sense for me

we now have a semi-detached house and no garden access. We never missed the access, everything went through the garage....our new detached house will not have it either. We have planned a wider garage door. But what should be so big that it doesn't fit through the garage?? In the last 15 years, we had no need for garden access....

Of course it works – with the third child and without a hallway (in the last house), however, it cost a lot of nerves. Opening and closing the garage, then back to the door, etc. o.O
