210,000€ loan amount. assuming an annual special repayment of 2,500€ - 25 years and 1 month. outstanding debt after ten years of fixed interest period 137,000...
Can this be done like this or is it complete nonsense?
Mentally, you can then increase your costs for the house by €200. Then you have €650 + €300 + €300 + €200 = €1,450 expenses for the house (I took the numbers for additional costs and returns from you). Then calculate what remains if a child arrives and one parent stays at home.
It can be done, but I find the remaining debt after the fixed interest period quite high. Whether one makes regular special repayments depends on how disciplined one is. On the other hand, there are many families who don’t have more available either and still manage. ;)
We have not planned a cistern, as cost / benefit / savings do not make sense – at least that’s what we were told. (Cost of cistern FROM €4000 – I think you really need to have a large garden to get that back)…
Sorry, I mean the rainwater shaft, to be allowed to channel the rainwater into the sewage system. For us, for example, it is mandatory and yes – we were at 5000. It was just an example of the kind of things that sometimes come up when it comes to costs you didn’t plan for in advance.
