Hello everyone,

We have been dealing with the topic of house construction for a long time now - just like all of you here. I only discovered the forum very late. I would like to share my ideas here and also later give back a construction blog as an experience to the community.

Specifically, I currently have my plans with Büdenbender for a quote. What caught my attention at Büdenbender is the breathable, diffusion-open exterior wall.

Does anyone have experience with Büdenbender both in terms of execution and the building material? Are the winters warm and the summers feel cool (in the sense of timber frame construction)?

Unfortunately, I could not find any current construction blogs here.... which initially made me suspicious. But well, I am waiting for responses.

Nevertheless, I will still have discussions with Haake, Keitel-Haus and Hamag Massivhaus GmbH. Also happy to hear experiences and/or opinions about these.

Greetings from the Hunsrück

Hello,

In 2012, I created an evaluation of the entire contractual scope of the provider. During my research, I also became aware that there are very few construction diaries. To close this information gap, I recommend you visit ongoing construction projects of the provider in your vicinity and, on site - preferably on weekends - talk to the homeowners.

Rhineland greetings

Hello construction expert,

Thank you very much for the quick response. Exactly for this reason, I hope to obtain some more detailed information about current BV here in the forum, BECAUSE according to my contact person, NO address of current builders may be disclosed for data protection reasons... which I can understand very well.

Nevertheless, I logically want to inform myself as best as possible, because the appearance and information from Büdenbender so far make a very professional impression - but I do not want to be blinded, of course!

What I have understood so far is that Büdenbender is rather among the high-priced ones, which then reflects in the materials and that is also fine.

It would be bad if it were expensive and sh.. materials, nobody wants that, and that is why there is a forum.

So, has anyone by any chance had experience with Büdenbender? Can you assess the materials, that is the wall structure?

Alternatives?

Hello, I find that very strange... normally prefabricated house companies like to present their satisfied customers. Data protection?

Then suggest to the seller that he should establish the contact. If he wants to sell something, then he should do something for it too.

I can somewhat understand that, because not every builder wants potential buyers walking around in front of their house.

Anyway, maybe someone here will find it. I also find it a bit strange, because they apparently build around 120 houses per year... been on the market for 65 years... there should actually be a few references for that.... or all the builders are very satisfied.

Who also knows something about Keitel-Haus/Haake?

The first conversations are going quite well (möchte Euch ebenfalls bisl informieren) without wanting to pass judgment now.

We designed a floor plan ourselves and are currently checking the following options:

● Timber frame prefabricated construction (Büdenbender, Keitel-Haus)
● Solid construction through a craftsman GmbH (Massivhaus Rhein Lahn)

Do you have any ideas regarding the approach? I actually tend more towards solid construction with regional craftsmen (pure gut feeling), but I can't shake the feeling that such GmbHs are the most expensive way to homeownership... am I mistaken, do you have the same experiences?

Many greetings
