Hire a tiling company. Save costs.

Hi,
My fiancée and I want to build a house, the offer includes floor coverings and wall/spackling work with 15,000€ each.

An acquaintance of ours has a tiling company, we want to send him the offer and maybe he will do it for a bit less money.

My question is, do I have to pay the tiling company privately or can I pay him with the construction loan?
It's a silly question but I hope for an answer.

With an invoice = possible from the loan
Without an invoice = you have to discuss with the bank, because it is undeclared work

Maybe just poorly phrased. If you remove the items from the contract, you get a credit which makes the total house price (from the general contractor?) cheaper. However, you don’t get €15,000 credited, but only a fraction, because it is a mixed calculation for the general contractor. Otherwise, just ask. There are differences with the companies. Your further costs, as long as they concern the house construction, can of course be paid from the loan against invoice, as already mentioned above. But also ask the bank in which form this is possible. Some always pay only after invoice, others want you to collect exclusive invoices. Ultimately, you have to look at the offer to see what the €15,000 are for: if it is floor coverings for the whole house, where 80 sqm including material are tiled, that is not expensive.
