RAL is in any case not as clear-cut as Pantone. A color mixed according to a RAL color chart will only ever look "the same" if it is applied again onto the same glossy cardboard from which the color chart is made – and thus will always look different when painted onto plaster.Colors always appear different on a surface as well. Unfortunately, I had to realize this now with our facade paint...
It seems to me that you are simply stuck on a misunderstanding – namely the difference between solid colors and tinting colors.I would like very light, pale tones. Most of the colors I have seen so far on color fans were all far too dark or strong for me. Even the sand or gray tones.
