You could try to have color fans sent to you from the American manufacturers, they are not that huge. Or browse in the nearby English-speaking countries: I am still very much in love with Farrow & Ball, especially for the subtle but still distinctive color palette. You can easily buy them here. If the colors are too expensive for the whole house: you can actually have anything mixed from the card/fan as a reference. Then at least you have the shade, even if not the great pigments.
Exactly with this Farrow and Ball color chart, the boss of our painting company also came around, and I am very grateful to him for that. The shades all looked very tasteful. We chose from the color palette and are very satisfied with the result. And yes, the colors look darker on the wall than on the card. A subtle, light blue-gray color, for example, was barely recognizable as a color on the color card – on the wall it fits. The experience and advice of the boss helped a lot.
