Yep. I can only confirm that. Without suitable hardware and color management, choosing colors online is a blind flight. I have one small thing left. Do not choose colors under poor artificial light! High-quality lamps with a high color rendering index RA 90+ for home are also recommended so that you can enjoy the color in the evening as well.

Single feature walls are unfortunately not my thing at all. I basically already know quite well where I want to go with this, very subtle in color and in the background. But it's more about how I can maintain these colors in Germany. I find that most of what you get "at the hardware store" is already too strong. And to get the painter to match the color exactly in the tone and paleness as I imagine, I somehow lack the right "unit" to convey this to him. Maybe I should just show up with sample photos. No idea.

I would borrow a color fan at the hardware store or from the painter and then find the corresponding paint by comparing.
